I thought it was fabulous, well acted, very atmospheric and a rare treat considering all the absolute crap on tv lately. Can't wait for my next portion.

Also, I can't believe how good brothel keeper Gillian Anderson's "Laahndon" accent is. Sounds like she studied Kat from Eastenders to perfect it.

Ah, that would explain it. Gillian spent her early years in Crouch End, while Jessie Wallace (Kat Moon) was in nearby Enfield, both in North London. Three years difference in age.
