Clearly, GM, there is nothing much wrong with your memory.

    The Copyist.

So Michael, you have taken the time to copy my style.
Unfortunately, nothing you say is original.
You have borrowed the views of those who ridicule me.
Don’t you have anything of your own?
Like others here, you only give slighted answers
    and no valid questions.

    Dear Troopers

This is a tale of a man with amnesia
The path of an amnesiac is fraught with misrememberings
It is through online therapy that all was concocted
With the urgings of lookers-on a memory was restored
    But the memory was tainted
Recollections of youth were mixed with smatterings of lore
Patiently we watched diaries, watches, friends, and foes
Sucked into the vortex of a damaged brain,
They reassembled, piece by piece, line by line, verse by verse
Coming out the other end, they were warped, twisted, besmirched
A teetering tower of dung, flung at us with simian mirth
Some took of it and ate, some flung it back
It reeked of ancient lies joined with new untruths
It was all of our creation, our monster
Powell the assembler, we the scavengers of parts, the Igor
    Rejected, the monster lies waiting
    Will it rise again?
It has a bride who, thus far, accepts it
Surely there can be no offspring from this union

I requested a copy of the post that 'seemed' to
be the reason for all the recent thread closures.

I found no malice or ill intention in the writing of the post.
I could see only one line that must have caused the concern,
something personal that a person may not want others to know
    about.
But saying that.. people these days, sometimes seem more open
about sharing certain things that have happened in their life.

I cannot understand ... the torrent of abuse that followed, it seems
    totally out of proportion.
Maybe just the 'offending' line could have been removed.

    General Discussion thread??

Take the time today to review whom we do not accept
    and seek to understand why?
When we discover that the root of our inability
to accept others as they are is our fear,
may we take the time to love and understand
and remove the fear of our ego and accept
and love each other as we are.
If we were all able to do this we would
remove hate and conflict from our lives
and live in love and peace as is our true nature.
To me a general discussion thread would be that people follow
on from the original comment made with their thoughts and ideas
    on the subject matter ....

Anyway, without a doubt how we treat others comes back
    to haunt us.
This is a nice post ...
