I have no idea who you are, but as I am a complete no-mark myself I hope you are not offended.

        Morning All,

I promised myself I'd avoid this thread but now I see I have a valuable contribution to make.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits, and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on; and our little life
          Is rounded with a sleep.

              Hi Suzi,

Crikey! That would explain all these years of bad luck.

                  Hello Victoria,

"all actors on a stage" ?

                  That is zoroastrian too.
The stage being a battle opposing good and evil.

...but the answers aren't that simple...unfortunately.

Hence H.S. Nyberg saying : "Whoever have dealt with these texts has resigned himself to translate differently in the morning from what he did the night before."

Or Kaj Barr : "The more I study the Gathas, the less I understand them."

To start understanding what it is all about, Jean Kellens' works are essential, especially his "Zarathustra and the old Avesta" (1991).

                  Keep the fire burning.

                  Amitiés,
                  David

I think we should be told.

In fact there is now a pressing need for us to know.

I'm off to Lake Como and Milan later this month so it is crucial that the information is here and the case is closed before I pack mine.

What I require is extremely simple. Someone very close to us knows the answer and it will take just a quick flick of their typing digit to put it up here and stop anyone else wondering.

Now for the all important question:

Just how many people have actually asked to see those African curiosities?

                          Suzi????

                          Have a great weekend all.

                          Love,

                          Caz

                                Thanks David and Suz.

Did Lake Garda a couple of years back actually - plus Verona and Venice. Superb.
