... I wonder if Mik Kaminski is related to Nathan?
      Kind regards, Sam Flynn

Good to know I'm not alone.

Favorite track: "Don't Bring Me Down."

I rate "Mr Blue Sky" as one of the most sophisticated pieces in the history of pop.

Fire on High actually gives me the chills. LOL The first half of the song, anyway

Hello Sam. Good observation. And I think that goes for all the "rainy day concerto."

"Telephone Line". Sounds like a track off Abbey Road. Great song.

I always thought the chorus owed a lot to "Lean on Me", by Bill Withers.

I recently came across this in the Hull and East Riding paper about the ELO experience.

Latest news, sport and events updates from around Hull. Including opinion, live blogs, pictures and video from the Hull Live team, formerly Hull Daily Mail.

PErhaps our friend Mr. Covell knows more about this? How bout it, Mikey? What have you heard? You an ELO fan?

One of my fave bands is The Move. Both them and ELO (same group basically) did 'Do Ya'. That's one of my faves.

                            Hi JTRSickert

I too confess that I am a great fan.

Out Of The Blue is a great album.
From the intro of Turn To Stone, through the truly amazing Sweet Talkin' Woman and the world class Mr Blue Sky to Wild West Hero et al; a great listen.

I have a 7" of Sweet Talkin' Woman in purple vinyl with picture cover!!

But they made so many great singles also.

Couple ELO with Roy Wood (the Move with the wonderful Carl Wayne, met him at a Hollies gig just b4 he passed away. A true gent.), the Wilbury's etc and you have a group of legendary status.

For the likes of George Harrison and Bob Dylan to be fans must be worth mentioning.

                            Thnx
                            Steve
