Wasn't Guy Fawkes trying to establish a Puritan type Government?

      Hi all

November 5th isn't a holiday, it's just a day on which we let off fireworks. Also, the last I heard, Guy Fawkes was trying to establish a Catholic government.

He failed to blow up Parliament. However, the good news is that in 1834 the whole pile of crap burned down.

The annual symbolic burning of a Catholic....ah the traditions of my country.

Whatever next? Eating current buns to notify the execution of a Jew?
