I assure you, I have nothing against Yoko - and endless sympathy for how she lost her husband - tho I think there are many who will agree that, whether definitely because of her influence or not, *some* of Mr L's later works when she was around were of extremely dubious quality...

    Anyhoo, back to topic...

    Love will turn you on.

No Bailey, not everyone hates Yoko.
She is despised by those who think she broke up the Beatles.
John Lennon loved the woman and that should be enough for his fans
to know that she too must have had her merits.
To lose her husband and lover the way she witnessed,
    is too terrible to comprehend.
Change your mind on her Bailey.
Hate is over if you want.

    Caz hates Yoko!

What was that again about 'impossibly garbled recollections?'
If you are referring to the record of 'Cambridge '69' by Yoko Ono,
don't blame me, I didn't perform on that record at all.
As for :"Something you may want to think about."
    naaa...

What did Feldy and Park do to you, Steve? Tell you all about their dastardly plans and then gag you and lock you up somewhere in case you spilled the beans too soon? Drug you with something that only allowed a very slow release of impossibly garbled recollections?

Or did they pay you extremely well to come out with one unbelievable claim after another, until every last reader is finally convinced that they had nothing to do with hoaxing the diary or watch?

In short, are you working against your hoaxers or for them?

Something you may want to think about.

    Love,

    Caz

    Keep it simple.

It's just remarkable to myself reading all of the theories
of how old the scratches are on the watch
and which scratches were there first and such.
'Tens of years old' was the catch cry of the investigators.
    'Maybe older' said someone else.
If I didn't know the simple truth about the watch,
all of this wonderful speculation might intrigue me.
'The truth is often the most simple and logical explanation'
Now that's right thinking and I think some of the troopers here
have forgotten that age old, wise saying.
When I told someone on another thread that Steven Park
had intentionally 'roughed-up' the watch and then constantly
'aged' it by cleaning it again and again, (after he scratched the initials into it)
the dear reader thought it was the most ridiculous thing
    he had ever heard of.
Yet, it is the simple truth.
Too simple it seems for some.
Those of you that have studied Maybrick should know:
He was a tidy man; a gentleman who liked to look good.
Even if he was addicted to his arsenic - like a lot were back then -
he wasn't a deranged maniac who was 'down on whores'
and decided to mutilate and kill a few of them.
What type of person would scratch initials of their victims
on the inside of their watch?
A madman? Of course, that's what Steven Park wanted you to think.
But if you think about it, it's just dumb, like I said to Steven when he told
    me that was his plan.
    He thought it was brilliant.
I still shake my head at the thought of it.
However, it has worked! Some people believe that Maybrick is the Ripper
and that the watch proves it.
God, what a lot of rubbish.
The only amazing thing about the whole diary and watch saga,
is how Paul Feldman managed to pull the whole thing off.
He put together a good, but childish idea
and turned it into one of the biggest hoax's of the last century.
I have to hand it to the guy, he was near brilliant.
    I say 'near' though.

    All the best

Yes, many people make heroes of the likes of the 'bushrangers',
maybe in the case of some, the adulation goes too far . . .

I like Ned Kelly with his Irish heritage .. but 'Thunderbolt' or should
I say 'Captain Thunderbolt', alias Frederick Ward, holds appeal to me
because of the stories I have heard.
He supposedly hid out in caves, in a mountain called 'White Rock' ..
in country New South Wales, in a town called Glen Innes, on part of my
great grandparents property. After he was presumed dead in 1870, there
were still sightings of him there.

    Steve,

Good to have you back - I don't care what anyone else sez!

"Such is life!" were Ned Kelly's last words.

    As for Feldman.....

    Cheers,

    Graham

    On The Trail Of Fantasy

    Howdy Troopers,
The trail led me to the Old Melbourne Gaol.
Interesting black past of a place.
They hung me mate Ned Kelly there
    and that Ripper suspect Deeming.
Walls soaked with sorrow and madness.
What was once a mighty and proud tree
    now shaved, bleached and tortured
by the weight of sins from the hangman's rope.

Steven Park went to see the gaol when it opened in 1972.
For him it was a church of dead heroes.
A thrilling fantasy of himself in every cell.
His diary was one of those fantasies.
It took Feldman to bring it to life.

You have sort of apologized and have had a bit of fun at my expense.. I´m too innocent for this sort of thing... but Peter has... well... you know.

I´m not cheesed off with you yet, honestly.

    Maria

P.S. Peter just came in and the client he just saw recognized him from the show and she said to him... " What a handsome son you have ! " to which he replied: " Wait till you see his mother " then he added: " She did not say anything about me " Awww...

    Maria,

It was just a joke about... I'm too much of a gentleman to explain it. Yet, I was ungentlemanly enough when I posted it. Oh, dear! What a conundrum.

What do you mean ? Peter is my husband, I was refering that programme he is on T.V. at the moment. The BBC has commissioned the third series of " Heir Hunters " Where Peter my son and yours truly will be appearing. The filming starts next month and on Wednesday we will have a meeting with the producers in Shropshire of all places ( where I can pick-up your cheese ).

Apparently the viewing is quite high so this made them make a third series. Only thing, we will be losing our privacy for a few months as the cameras follow us all over the place from the crack of dawn. Pray for me !

    He,he,he,he,he,

That is because it does not exist and he lied at the " Trial " confident that people would take his word as an " expert " These days people are lazy, they do not use their mind nor their common sense. They just expect their answers from somone else who is vetted as an " expert "

At this stage, I do not believe a word Keith Skinner has ever written anywhere to sell his books. He tried to cajole his idea into an impossible. ie. make the " evidence " fit into: "coming from Battlecrease " But it did not come from Battlecrease because we know its a fake and not the work of James Maybrick

But those out there, with less common sense that god gave to a chicken, are still looking for the " Battlecrease connection " with their Guru Keith Skinner who BTW is a lousy researcher.

Just as the Spanish-Arab philosopher Espinoza once said: Common Sense, is the least Common of the Senses !

If anyone wants to see a real good researcher tune in BBC at 9 A.M. every day in the mornings and you will see Peter in action.
