A mere attempt to clarify a seafarer from a landlubber captain (Military)

    Thank you Billy,

The chapter you are on, the first, was the toughest. The creation of the Met in 1829, and the City police ten years later, was not as simple as 'boom, here we are'. It was an evolution, a slow evolution at that. Therefore presenting it was difficult. Its a complex subject, and the toughest I have ever had to write about, but felt it important to lay down the foundations best I could as it explains the base upon which Peels new model police is founded. It was important that the reader understood the police's growth through history.

Not for me to say of course, but your feelings may be spot on. ;-)

          "Dear Mr Bell

Your book ‘Capturing Jack the Ripper’ is being released today in its paperback format...."

There you go folks, straight from the publishers keyboard.

Following on from its success in hardback, Capturing Jack is now available in paperback.

Being a book snob, I'm glad I've got the hardback but, congrats anyway.

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.
