Congrats, Monty. It just takes awhile to recognize true luxury. So often we settle for counterfeit ones because of the advertising.

I wouldn't call supporting West Ham a luxury.

I know some of you are having issues obtaining my book. I have been trying to find out why, and have received this response from my publishers.

              "Hi Neil

Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year!

I’m not too sure where the US publication date of 19 December has come from? Is this on the Amazon.com page? Usually, our books are released in the US 2 months after their UK publication date, so it should be available by 19 January. I’m sorry to hear that those in the US are frustrated by the wait! You can let them know that if they would prefer, they can order your book from The Book Depository now, where they have free delivery worldwide. This may take a shorter amount of time to arrive with them than waiting for the book to be released on Amazon."

Even I don't get freebies of my own book Scott. I have to pay like everyone else.

I am on to this availability issue which, quite frankly, has seriously pi$$ed me off.

I gave it a terrible review without reading it and purchased all available remaining copies in the hope nobody else would want one.

I am going to wait a few years and sell them as rare collectibles.

                                An update from my publishers

                                Re the Amazon issue

                                Hi Neil

I have heard back from our American distributors and apparently there was an ordering mix-up of the shipment of books which contained stock of Capturing Jack the Ripper. I’m very sorry about this! I have been told that it was meant to be available on the 19 January, but as that month’s order was wrong, it was delayed until this month. Casemate in America are expecting this shipment on the 19 February, so with any luck, the books should be available on this date to US customers.

Again, I’m so sorry about this time delay! Hopefully the books will be available soon though.

                                Best wishes,

                                Cheers
                                Monty
