    Hello everyone,

    A spot of shameless self-promotion.

Murder and Crime: Whitechapel and District is now out, and available through the usual online retailers. You might have a bit of trouble finding it in the shops, though.

Anyway, here's the link to the page on the publishers' website: click here.

          Hi Mark.

Congratulations, the book sounds terrific! Do you happen to know if it will be available via a U.S. distributor such as Amazon?

          Thanks and best regards,

            Hi Archaic,

I don't know how these things work, but if you buy one of the two copies presently advertised at amazon.com, you'll end up paying something approximately equivalent to Ł11.00, including shipping and handling - not unreasonable, I think, for a book the cover price of which is, by itself, Ł10.00.

            Regards,

            Mark

              Thanks, Mark.

I just checked again and it looks like your book is available on the U.S. Amazon site.

The U.S. is so big that our shipping rates are higher than in England, but the Amazon warehouse has copies of your book, so buyers can get free shipping if they spend $25.

Really looking forward to reading it!

              Thanks and best regards,
              Archaic

Mine's on the way. Fifteen bucks Canadian and free shipping because I bought a couple of other things at the same time. I'm happy.

That was very funny. OK, I'll wait. But, I'll bet that, after I've read it, I'll still be happy.

                              Hi Mark

My copy arrived yesterday and a super book it is, with intelligent text, loads of carefully selected photos and obvious signs of serious personal research.

Yours (looking forward to Volume 2)
