I'm sure Rob and Phil won't mind me interjecting DGB,
However it doesn't.
The yard photo came into Philips possession in November 2007, weeks after the Then and Now release which occurred in the September (I think, I know it was at the 07 conference).

Hi DGB,
Neil is right and the Dutfields Yard photo does not appear in the 'Then and Now' book. In any of the editions.
The Dutfields Yard photo only appears in 'The Location Photographs' It is spread across two pages but nothing is missing from it.
The paperback edition of 'Then and Now' is the most up todate version and is also available on Kindle fairly cheaply if you have it.
Regards
Rob

Thanks Rob
I'm more of paper man, so I'll go for the old-fashioned approach.
Both books ordered.
I've been lurking for a while - and your maps are one of my fave elements of the board - but now started to step up the interest a bit more.
Looking forward to receiving your book.

I am going to have to get this book now. Have seen it advertised, but didn't realise it included a Dutfields Yard photo. This is going to be one of those questions that Alan Davies sets himself up with on QI, but here goes:
"What's the photo on the front cover?" (Please don't tell me it's Hanbury Street).
Regards, Bridewell.I won't always agree but I'll try not to be disagreeable.

Thanks for explaining. I was trying to work out why there was a brick wall where a fence should be!
Best Wishes, Bridewell.I won't always agree but I'll try not to be disagreeable.
