Just to say what an excellent evening/event it was. Great catching up with so many people, especially from the Whitechappel Society. John gave a great reading from his book, even if he did get rather interrupted by his mobile phone..

Anyway I now have a signed copy, and it comes highly recommended.

Just to say that the talk went better than expected - we had to relocate to a larger room because there were so many attendees. Apparently it was the best attended talk in the events series so far (although I'm sure Dan Cruickshank may have a bigger turnout!).

I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was great to have family and friends in attendance.

On a further note, 'E2' has just been comissioned for 2011.

            Happy days!
