Hi all,
I'm after some info on a book I bought in a Beverley antique book shop.
Its called Sergeant Cork Casebook 2 and is about a fictitious Victorian policeman of the same name. The book stems from a BBC series in the mid 60s and is akin to the Barlow and Watt style.
Now I think I recall Stewart, Don, or someone stating a belief Sergeant Cork was very loosely based on Sergeant Thick, however please don't quote me on that, its possible I'm very wrong.
Anyway, any info shall be gratefully received.
Cheers
Monty
