Hats off to Jonathan for salvaging my podcast - despite the occasional interference, the sound quality for the first half sounds super.

The second half sounds like I was sitting in a garden shed; not JM's fault as I had to swap from a normal computer to a laptop, but we got an hour's worth.

      Thanks JM.

I thought it sounded great considering what we were up against!

I do sit in the garden shed to broadcast, it is my safe haven from the wife

I thought it sounded pretty good. There were a few instances where John Bennett sounded a little like R2-D2, but even then you could figure out what he was saying. Compliments to Jonathen for the work he did in getting the podcast in audible form.

I would like to announce here that the shorts of the Hutch are knee length. I don't wear ones shorter than that. So there.

I wore shorts for the first time in years today to a friends BBQ, they were, like Philip's, knee lenght, but after a few hours I rolled them up to reveal the milkiest whitest legs you have ever seen!

They have gone away for another few years now!

Of course, if you wore a thong when giving your tours, your audience might be more inclined to pay attention.

As my voice quickly recedes into the distance as they reach either the Mile End Road or Leadenhall Street!

Trust me, Colin, it would not be good.

John - fine interview, in spite of your Norman wotsit (who used to do the stand-up act with the 'faulty' microphone) impression for the first half. You remembered correctly about the first London Job, though when I went into the crypt a fortnight beforehand it was with one of the gardeners and I met Father Paul for the first time the same time as you did.
