Since this was episode 13 I'm surprised it wasn't about Mary Jane Kelly. After all, she did live at 13 Miller's Court. Anyway, I did enjoy the talk about Catherine Eddowes. Is it just me, or does Jonathon have the voice of a coyote....Peter Coyote to be precise. Fantastic narration voice. He shoud be doing voice over work for the History Channel, or Discovery Channel, or some network like that!

Episode #14- Frogg Moody

Hi All,

Episode #14 will feature special guest Frogg Moody of The Whitechapel Society 1888, the Cloak and Dagger Club and composer of the musical Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper.

Sitting in for Howard Brown this week will be Stan Russo. Paul Begg is expected to appear tomorrow as well. Other voices will be myself, Ally Ryder, Mike Covell and Robert McLaughlin.

We're all looking forward to speaking with Mr. Moody.

An enjoyable podcast!

I was particularly fascinated to learn of Frogg's play on the Titanic McNamees since it was my research into Titanic's passengers that indirectly precipitated my interest in the Whitechapel murders (W.T. Stead and Revd. Carter being the obvious "links").

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Frogg at Wolves during a talk and speaking to him outside the hotel.

He is a wonderfully interesting guy whose knowledge of the offbeat side to the era is totally compelling.

My chat with him was a pleasure, bet the podcast reflects that.

I've read in another post Patricia Cornwell has been invited to join the roundtable on a future podcast, and that no response has come from her camp. The speculation I've heard so far is she's afraid of criticism, or that she considers the podcast to be "rinky-dink." Well, I don't think she's afraid of criticism, because that sort of conflict sells books. She'd love that. I think most likely, although I could be wrong, since the podcast is free, and no money is given to any guest is the reason she's not participating. She wants to be paid for her time. I'm glad none of the guests of the podcast are paid. It shows true love for the mystery surrounding Jack the Ripper, and a more passionate discussion. Keep trying for Ms. Cornwell. It would be quite the coup to have her on the show. I just won't hold my breath.

I believe the obvious reason why I have not heard from Patricia Cornwell is that the only request I've made has been to her agent's NYC office, International Creative Management. This company represents thousands of individuals world-wide and I'd be very surprised if my email even reaches Ms. Cornwell. She has not refused to participate. I did make the comment on another thread, however, that she might refuse for the simple reason that I requested her to be on a 'Jack the Ripper' podcast. Which she might find "rinky-dink".

In the mean time can I congratulate you and reassure anyone reading that there is nothing 'Rinky tink' about them...a regular Monday morning in the bath brilliant
