Since childhood I've been very unlucky with electricals. Anything I use that has batteries usually screws up - they either run down too quick or the connections are faulty. I'm always having internet problems and even cigarette lighters stop working after a week with me. My rechargable shaver mysteriously died last week, hence my recent beard. And my car battery went flat last week too. What a sob story
Anyroad, thanks folks for trying again, YOUR patience is much appreciated. Hopefully Jonathan can weave some magic to salvage the recording(s).
Go JM go!!
All the best

Hi all,
The John Bennett episode will be ready for release tomorrow. Promise. There is some tinkering I must do to it first
I now will have 3 podcasts in the collection which are unedited, rated R (for adult language) versions. I should put the excised portions of all the shows in their very own episode. Call it #13 1/2.
Stay tuned and the podcast should be available Wednesday.
Thanks to John, Ally Mike and Robert for coming on this last minute (ha ha) re-do

Yes unfortunately the first go round was brilliant, flawless sound, every amusing anecdote on display and my questions were brilliant...I've definitely lost the chance for a Peabody here. And none of it recorded...sigh.
The second go round was plagued with sound difficulties. Oh well. What can you do. Except blame Bennett.
Let all Oz be agreed;

Episode #12 is online
Hi all,
Sorry for the delay with this week's podcast. Technical problems arose, never quite went away, and then family obligations today (or rather yesterday) had to take front seat to producing this episode.
Anyhow...
The East Ender: John Bennett and a Photographic History of the East End is now available, so, you know the drill...
Refresh your iTunes podcast library grabber for the Rippercast
or
Click the subscribe button on the Podcast page at www.rippernet.com
or
PM me with any problems and I'll aid you in getting the episode.
We all wish to thank John Bennett for being on twice to get this episode in the can, and despite the audio difficulties you may encounter...
I hope you listen and enjoy!
JM
PS- I'll go ahead and announce- This Sunday's show will be Catherine Eddowes for the hour, with special guest Neil Bell. So get your Kate or Neil questions in before 7pm UK time Sunday.
