    Sorry its taken me over a year to respond to your excellent post


    I was familiar with Francis Thompson and I think he is arguably the one person of interest who had (or should of) the PRACTICAL ability to cut out Mary's heart.

    Considering he was in the area around the time of the murders and he was of unsettled mind (to say the least) then that surely adds weight to him as a potential Ripper suspect.


    Means, motive and opportunity make Thompson someone to not overlook.

    He has always felt like an outside bet, but IMO falls into the top 12 suspects.

    12 might sound a lot...but I have SCORES of potential suspects, so top 12 is relatively high placed for me.
