    Hello Mitch!

I made a long time ago the following compromise of those two illustrations!

      The Answer: No

Back before the database crashed, there was extensive discussion trying to reconstruct Mary Kelly's face. All were imaginative, and sometimes convincing, but most drove home the terrible point that this was once a human being.

Unfortunately, from the crime scene photos showing extensive damage to here face, to the point of it being unrecognizable as a face, all reconstructions seem to be pareidolia. Quite like reading into a Rorschach. What Mary looked like and analysis of the Miller's Court photos is a fascinating obsession in this case and, like much of the ephemera, gleefully never to be resolved.

Michael uses the magic word that explains what that guy trying to match Eddowes to a Sickert doodle was doing.

        Kudos!

          Hello Doctor X!

Yes, Michael is probably correct. However objective one tries to be...

And the term he presented, is also true with one Patricia...

Do people in your country not move out until they're 30 or something? You're a real piece of work, Jukka. Gotta love ya.

I'd be all for a comprehensive medical examination of MJK's remains and a careful and responsible evaluation and publication of the result but I can't see the point of a facial reconstruction. Exhumation just for the sake of creating yet another icon for romantic Ripperologists seems a bit too much for my taste.

No, no, they are starting a life of their own life exactly like in the other countries.

Believe it or not, that also included me some, some years ago!

Forgot to add, though; in case, she was 25 or less than that! And I find the last one quite possible...

(Remember; people under 21 were minors in LVP! )

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've been in contact with some forensic artists, to see what can and can't be done. They are analyzing the photo and sketches and will be using computer technology IF they can do anything. It's in the baby stages but since I've been speaking with them, they seem optimistic at this point. We may be able to get closer than before. Not prefect but darn close. The artists are from several places across the globe, so now we wait and see. I'm SO EXCITED - I might also be broke after this. LOL

                    Hi Jukka,

During the LVP girls could get married at the age of twelve.

                    Regards,

                    Simon

                      Hello Simon!

                      Yes!

But if I have understood correctly, women's legal rights weren't as good as they are now!

And I do remember, that MJK claimed to have got married, while being 16...
