    Yes! I find the word 'probably' (prostitutes) in an official document very interesting. Different times.
    Throughout his notebook he annotates households and entire streets with the word 'Jews' and although he will undoubtedly have been correct, to my mind, reading it with 21st Century eyes and the benefit of knowing about the Holocaust, there is something quite interesting about it.

          It was mentioned in the thread but it’s a bit of a coincidence that 3 years after the murders number 13 is occupied by Thomas and Ann Kelly. Even the person that was living with them is a coincidence. If anyone has seen the 1959 movie Jack The Ripper they will know that the killer (a Dr Stanley figure) stalked the streets asking women “are you Mary Clark?”
