you are going to have to accept one day that JTR killed all of the C5 victims, this isn't hard to do, you're making all of this too hard for yourself to understand..... let alone us

    Imagine there's no ripper, it's easy if you try . . .

Hello Malcolm. You mean my reasoning? Well, try having a go at the case from square one. Banish all thoughts about prostitutes and serial killings.

To be fair, I occasionally try to imagine one of the major suspects as killer and then get the evidence to fit. It doesn't.

    Cheers.

Then shall I know, even as I am known.

Hello David. Ah, but then we shall know all.

    Sounds good to me.

    Cheers.

Lynn, I know one day the lion and the sheep will take a nap together. Your theory will be as good as many after Jesus return.

    serial killings

Hello David. I know nothing of serial killers. But those who DO, I do not regard as "sick" on that account.

"If that's not serial killing, serial killing doesn't exist."

Doesn't exist? Very well, I like that.

    Cheers.

    Sick? No, merely wrong headed.

How would you know ? You said you didn't know anything about serial killers.

The Automn spree is really no problem. If that's not serial killing, serial killing doesn't exist.

    psychology

    Hello Addy.

"You mean it is psychological for all people who say there was a Jack the Ripper?"

I mean here are, say, twenty dots. They can be connected in hundreds of ways. How we connect them is a function of how we THINK they should fit together. This may or may not reflect reality.

"I'm sorry, I don't following your line of thinking."

    That's OK.

"And what do you mean with psychological?"

I mean depending on the mind.

"That it is "sick" to think of a serial killer"

    Sick? No, merely wrong headed.

"when a series of (seemingly) the same murders take place?"

    Ah! "SEEMINGLY"--good word.

"How would you explain it then?"

How about, five women died. A pity? Of course. Now, let's see what happened.

"If there are only 2 murderers in this case (as you believe), then one of them must have murdered three/four women (if you consider the C5, either including or excluding Liz Stride). Isn't that by definition a serial killer?"

Umm, only 2 killers? Where did you get that idea about my thinking?

    Cheers.

The 3 to 4 ounces of 'water' described by Brown to be in the bladder is half the amount necessary to trigger the urge to 'piddle' in most adults, even someone of Kate's diminutive size.

Even if we accept, for a moment, the theory that Catherine Eddowes went to that area in Mitre Square to relieve herself, it does not account for her heading in the opposite direction from her lodging upon her release. There were water closets available at the Bishopgate station as well as other designated locations for the calls of nature in the area.

Nearly every single person involved in the investigations of these murders, when offering an opinion on the victims themselves, believed they were probably soliciting or were, at least, known to police as prostitutes. You must take considerable pride in knowing more that these individuals who were there at the time, had investigated the movements of the victims and their antecedents for the days, months and sometimes years prior to their demise.

Hello DVV. You're right, Lago di Garda is a true lovely place to stay. I live just in the opposite of Desenzano, on the rocky north side (have you seen Riva or Malcesine?).

Hello Malcolm, you say Schwart gave two different versions on purpose? I could estimate to choose between the reliable (a Police file) but too basic Swanson's report and an article on a newspaper (more detailed but how much real?), I've never thought about that.
I've been in London 1 month ago just to visit Berner St. (love to call so!) and I was astonished to realize how short and narrow it is: a whatever Mrs. Malcolm alone would be enough to attend the way till to Ellen st! But it gone in wrong way...
