Pure Nonsense
This is precisely what I'm talking about. Trevor Marriott (and other authors) are completely incorrect, therefore their readers draw conclusions from bad information. See my posts on this topic earlier on in the thread. What Lynn posted here is absolutely incorrect.
Dr. Phillips did suggest that Stride's killer might have used a shorter bladed knife because of where her head was positioned. He didn't think a long knife would have made it under her. But we must remember the tightened scarf. The Ripper likely used the scarf to pull her head up so that he COULD get his long-bladed knife under her. Hence the tightened scarf. It all pieces together fine.
But absolutely no doctor said a blunt-tipped knife was used on Stride. They actually said quite the opposite. I've pointed this out toLynn before but he seems to be opposed to simple truths.
