Since I don't believe GH has been a minder (as to me, it has been conclusively shown by Ben and others), I may accept "enforcer" as more likely.
The main difference betwwen minder and enforcer is that: a minder could work both for Mary or /and Mac Carthy, while an "enforcer" seems working exclusively on Mac Carthy's side.
But working for what? The prosperous Mac Carthy did not even provide a shelter for poor GH...
