Dan is not replying to you - he can't see your posts - he is replying to Bailey and myself amongst others. Hence your comment "The Norder was clearly responding to my post which demonstrates that he was peeking at them.." is an intentionally false statement.

I have consistantly ask Norder to back up his claims and provide the evidence.

Why has he failed to do so?

Attacking someone by trying to talk through a third person is completely dishonest and without back bone. If you have something to say to someone then at least you should have the guts to say it to their face.

Otherwise from my recollection we tend to agree on most other topics (at least from the ones Colin has weighed in on one way or another, as I have no idea what he thinks about other topics). My bad then - I'd thought I recalled the two of you (Dan and Colin that is) butting heads on another thread recently. Must've been mistaken, or at least memory made a mountain out of a molehill of friendly disagreement.

As for your assumption that Colin has a problem with Norder... your probably wrong about that...

Colin is his own man, and dispite the fact that on the whole I disagree about his veiws on Jack the Ripper...he just is cool....you've got it or you aint..Colins an East end boy...I disagree with'im but he knows his music..

Where as Norder is what we used to call at school the Butt...

The brainy kid who ran off and grassed everyone to teacher..

A very fair point, with which I do not disagree, and so I stand corrected. However I also agree with the comment elsewhere that using "Cross" would prevent people having to scurry away and look up Lechmere to figure out who we were talking about. From the argument you make, I guess this would in fact be a good thing - perhaps we would all do well to continue to update our references to keep up with discoveries.

HOWEVER, Colin, I don't think I'm unreasonable in saying you came on a little strong there? A lot of bolds and triple exclamation marks (refer Terry Pratchett for his comments on the sanity of those who indulge in gratuitous punctuation abuse) all added up to me feeling rather like I was being abused, which I don't especially care for.
