There are 99 active members, so 18% of us have voted which is probably about on par with previous polls.Originally posted by Herlock Sholmes View Post18 voters so far. I was hoping for more but obviously everyone is free to vote or not. I said November 25 as the final day but if no one else is going to vote I’ll give it another week. Why a four-year-old child could understand this report! Run out and find me a four-year-old child, I can't make head or tail of it.

Silverman had a Chandler’s shop in Fashion Street I believe and ended up insane but I know nothing more at this point.

I don’t know who Moross is I’m afraid. I’ll have to find out though.

Its important for me to say that the research regarding Hanslope is NOT mine.

Debra, Belloc, and the late Mr Chris Scott were the ones who really brought Hanslope into the fray.

Literally everything I know about Hanslope has come from either Debra, Belloc, or Chris Scott.

The only slight possible piece of data that I think I may have found myself, was the newspaper reference to Hanslope; as a teenager, being an actor, and playing and winning an award for his public recital of the antagonist Jew Shylock from The Merchant of Venice, and the fact that a tall gentile like Hanslope (he was nearly 6ft) was able to portray a Jewish money lender wanting his pound of flesh etc..
... but knowing the high calibre of the 3 individuals named above, I may be wrong about that too.
If I'm wrong, then I apologise unreservedly to Debra and Belloc.

If anyone wants to know more about Hanslope, then Debra is the authority on him (with Belloc too)

Marks Silverman on the other hand; I did find myself.

A very enigmatic character to say the least.Last edited by The Rookie Detective; Yesterday, 02:31 PM."Great minds, don't think alike"

Moross then used his contraptions to sexually assault several women over a period of time.

He also had a close association at one time with Dr Swyer

Moross was also a mysoginist and had a penchant for beating his wife up and their divorce settlement papers are extensive, as well as absolutely fascinating.

Their divorce became known as "Moross vs Moross" and is well worth a look.

There's too much to go into on this thread, but at some point I will aim to start a thread concerning Moross.

He has been mentioned before in relation to Dr Swyer, but hasn't had his own spot in the limelight as of yet (as far as I'm aware)

Thanks Chris, I couldn’t recall reading anything about Moross although I may have just forgotten having done so. There’s no reason why you couldn’t start threads in the suspects section on the ones that you mentioned as they are certainly lesser known. Maybe additional research might throw up some additional snippets.Originally posted by The Rookie Detective View Post
