    Fleming

Hello Malcolm. Unless, of course, you accept Debs' conjecture regarding height.

And if correct, do you think Fleming goes on the top 50 list? I rather like him for MJK.

    Cheers.

except that nobody was ever seen above 6ft tall, let alone 6FT 7'' and considering that JTR was seen at least 3 times, this rules out Flemming instantly.

the only chance you have, is if he was only 5ft 10'' or close, but 6ft 7'' is just rediculous

    Hi,
A top 50 list would I fear, include such non starters as Lewis Carroll, Queen Victoria, Sir William Gull , William Booth , just to mention a few.
From a personal view, I would suggest three major contenders, the first [ not necessary the main one] being Joseph Fleming, who if proven conclusively was the man confined in an asylum, and was the ex boyfriend of Mary Kelly, would surely be a major contender.
The second is what I would call ''part'' speculation, is a strong feeling I have that McCarthy's[ Kelly's landlord] suspect, was a man that appeared in the court shortly before Mary's death, demanding to see her, because she had something of his... this man was sent packing in ''true McCarthy style[ according to his great grand-daughter Fiona kendall-lane.
A nameless suspect , but very much in line with the Motive, and Kelly being the last of the series.
The other suspect, again nameless, is the market porter wearing a plaid jacket, that was seen [ allegedly] by Caroline Maxwell at 845 outside Ringers.
This would fit in nicely with a morning [ daylight ] murder which I subscribe to, and the police initially also, and in my opinion, as he was the last man seen with the victim Kelly, has to be number one , until eliminated, as in all police enquiries.
The only other one that I hold a candle for is the much discussed Joseph Barnett, Mary's ex, although that theory is shelved at least for now.
    Regards Richard,

Well I don't think a top 50 would be very narrowed down and would contain a lot of very improbable suspects. My personal list currently consists of a top three-
    3. William Bury
    2. James Kelly
    1. Who I really think it was- the infamous "unknown local who has never been named."

Who are the mostly likely suspects?

If we could narrow down a list of say, the top 50 or so most likely suspects, who would your list consist of?
