My "arrogant" and "unreasonable" suggestion that the thread was closed was, of course, a joke - I do not have the power to close threads believe it or not - but at the same time it would have been good if everyone else had picked up on the idea and not responded to Pierre any further. But because you did, then someone else did and so on. But that is always going to happen. You can't prevent every member, present and future, from responding to Pierre if they want to and they are perfectly entitled to do it.

And for future reference I really don't need your advice about "the folly of my ways." In fact, it's strange that you don't consider such advice to be arrogant and unreasonable. But I've clearly got you on my hook now so just keep wriggling and we can go on for days with this argument. How lovely!

If you care to re-read post 448 you will see that I addressed Harry in that post, and remarked to him how the ultimate fisherman, Pierre, had you all in his keep net. Who took the bait and responded to my post? One David Osram. And you have been "deliciously" on the end of my hook throughout the whole of this conversation. But you failed to notice this.

I'm struggling to see the difference Harry. He posts nonsense, you post nonsense. I chase Pierre round the forum (in your view) while you chase me round the forum. I ignored you in the other thread so you chased me into this one.

As it happans, I respond to many different posters who write nonsense, one of whom is Pierre while another one is you.

The difference between me and you is that I try to discuss the issues relating to the thread in which I am posting. This is a thread entitled "A major breakthrough". Do you have anything to say about this topic? If not, what on earth are you doing in here?
