Montague John Druitt - New Headstone on grave

Just a note on memorial symbolism. Druitt is buried with a standard three step cross available from Stonemasons all over the country,

The three steps represent Faith, Hope and Charity.

I apologize in advance. I scrolled through quickly to see if anyone posted same. Could not see. After researching a bit, my thoughts are that the M.J. Druitt gravestone is the original, and can be cleaned by anyone if you are patient and put in the elbow grease, with the following:

• water
• soft bristle brush
• a non-ionic cleaner (neutral pH of 7)

I believe it's the labour one would pay for with the pros. But if you had the time and determination, save the bucks and have at it!

If I lived over The Pond, I'd be a mould/grime marble busting Ripperology tangential gravestone cleaning monster!
