So you have submitted a suspect which has proven to have been violent towards women and used a knife on multiple occasions, a man who was directly connected to MJK and whose movements are suspicious when you consider the course of events surrounding the slaying of Kelly.

Morgenstern/stone HAS to be considered a suspect.

Whether it comes to nothing is not the point, it's the fact that a brilliant researcher has taken the time and effort to sincerely submit a viable suspect that fully deserves to be in the mix and looked at more closely.

Once a suspect is in the mix, it opens up lots of different research avenues and brings about further discussion and cohesion among us.

And that's the entire point of this thread right there.

The attack on the three women took place at the same time. One was stabbed, one was kicked between the legs and the third was beaten with a poker.

The most chilling aspect of the whole thing is that he apparently removed his jacket and vest/waistcoat before carrying out the attack with the poker. There’s something about the cold-bloodedness of that that stands out for me.

BTW, it was Howard Brown over on JTRForums who discovered this incident. It’s usually teamwork over there and it’s often difficult to remember who contributed what. (Debra’s usually in the mix somewhere!)

The other interesting thing about Morgenstern is his apparent links with other violent brothel keepers including one who appears to have been a serial arsonist - a rather stocky man with a somewhat blotchy face.

And to cap it all, there is a Maria Harvey in the mix, though proving that she was MJK’s friend has eluded me so far.

Regarding the Sutcliffe case; the police were responsible for prolonging his killing spree by not being open minded, or rather, shallow minded.
it makes me wonder whether the police at the time of the Jack the ripper case were of similar mindsets and perhaps goes some way to explain why the real killer went under the radar and was never caught.

      TRD
The reason Sutcliffe slipped through the net was because each of the murders has a separate incident room. Back then all information gathered was placed on a card index system. So each room was not able to tap into the information from all the other incident rooms.

In this day and age, one computerised evidence gathering system is used by all this is aptly called "Holmes"

As accurate as it can be based on everyone's contrasting ways of submitting suggestions.

I have tried to accurate reflect and incorporate everyone's choices for suspects.

What's interesting is that as of yet, there has been no unidentified suspects put forward for either Nichols or Chapman.

        Keep those suggestions coming

Always liked the look of Kelly, but not sure where he was at the time, but then same applies to Deeming.

Quite a range of suspects, but no-one mentioned George Chapman - a bit surprised he is no-one's top four.
