While we are on the subject of the broken window, bloodhounds and Warren....

Warren served in southern Africa. In fact Warrenton was named after him, diamonds being discovered there in 1888.

The Christian Afrikaans had relied on Statenbifbel until 1878.

Being a Dutch translation,Jews was probably spelled Juwes, although Joden is the norm.

Two well known Ripperologists discussing the guy who was actually Jack the Ripper.

They know something's rotten in Denmark (cheese joke ),however they haven't done their research. Fail!

Bit like finding a Frank Cater.....but different.

Unsure what this has to do with two broken window panes.

Right well I'm not sure what indicates he was BS man...but a connection between the Royal Engineers and the torso dumpsites would be interesting investigate i wonder if Jerry D has looked into this

My understanding is that the offer was unacceptable.

Henry Matthews seemed intent on not catching our Jack.

Indeed it was Michael, and described as such in the press.

I have this theory about the broken window...because I believe in actuality there were three holes in the 2 sets of windows, one one the panes to the far left, one high on the right side, and one down by the lower right hand corner..the one that it is alleged Barnett used when they left the latch engaged and went out.

Heres my theory...I think they intentionally broke the one that Barnett used because they did indeed lose their key and didnt want to leave the room unlocked when they went out. It seems to convenient for it to have been the one that was accidentally broken during a row. I believe the broken window that occurred in a row was one of the 2 higher breaks.

    Cheers
I agree the broken window is conveniently placed to make reaching the lock easier. The cause, a drunken row, is very likely an excuse.
However, there always has been a disagreement as to whether two or three panes were broken when viewing the photo.

The royal engineers were also responsible for reporting on the railways correct? What about the bridges and sewer tunnels along the thames?

    Hi Phil.

    Cox claimed in court:

"She went up the Court a few steps in front of me."

    and then..

"I saw them go into her room. I said “Good night Mary”, and the man banged the door."

Have a good look at the CV5's addresses prior to their deaths.

Nichols moves next door to Kate.

    Kate goes hopping.

Chapman, several doors from Mary Kelly dies.

Kate returns looking for a non existent reward.

Liz moves from Dorset Street to Flower and Dean, several doors from Kate.

Liz leaves for the night about the same time Kate is arrested.....

Kate is found with a card for a guy named Carter.

Chap with the same name is a Royal Engineer.
    Think tunneling and broad shoulders.

Warren,an ex Royal Engineer, shows interest in Packer's description of events.
Packer changes his times and is discredited.
