We don't know whether Annie owned all the items found around her, we assume she did. We don't have the luxury of having her possessions on hand already inventoried before death, as we do with Kate.

IMO one thing that that speaks to the Ripper being an organized killer was his ability to 'never' step in any of the victims blood. It almost seems amazing that there were never any bloody footprints to follow, if even only for a step or two.

In my amateur view and with no evidence to support it, I am thinking that Jack was deliberate and planned in his actions up to after the point of strangulation (in control phase) and death of the victim. Then from the point of slitting the throat and continuing with the mutilation (the 'Thrill' phase) he was out of control, not mad, but couldn't control his actions.

I hope this makes sense, basically he plans how to lure his victims and dispatch them and once dispatched he can start his dirty, sadistic, work.

Anyone think the same, or am I barking up the wrong tree?
