Hello everybody: are we (i mean, the whole forum, and specially the great Anciens) completely sure that the famous picture of the demolition of Dorset street represents the back of Miller's Court ? I've seen many colour emphasis, legends and comments, but, i'm still in doubt...

Hi Gene,
A Doubting Thomas might ask, [a] is why is the 234 ft. spire of Spitalfields Church not visible in the background, and [b], where have all those trees come from which appear to be running along Commercial Street?
Rest assured that someone will have a suitable answer.
Regards,
SimonNever believe anything until it has been officially denied.

Hi Mark,
"Utter, unadulterated poppycock"?
It's hardly my fault if you're geographically-challenged.
I eagerly await the arbitration of someone sensible.
