Between Harvey and Watkins I have several hours in teasing out the details. Harvey in particular is less than clear about the switchbacks he makes. Two of them are in Little Duke Street and a third in Church Passage. Forgive the less than tidy appearances. Start at the vertical line in Bevis Marks in and follow the inquest testimony of the P.C. to see what I mean. There is a lesson for us all on geography here, words are woeful characterisations of movements in physical space. Dave
