        Karl Marx & IWMA

        Love that poster, Mike!

On page 1 of this thread you were talking about Karl Marx; here is his International Working Stiff's Association membership card.

Hmmm; I wonder if he paid his dues?

            Hello LC,

Yes... and here's more of it...

            1) If Anderson had his man... Le Grand/Grand/Turner.. call him what you will...
            2) But hadn't got a murderer for Annie and Polly... and not
            Eddowes and Kelly...
            3) By the time of the case being put to bed, filed... we have the possibility of an UNKNOWN murderer being responsible for C1 and C2, a murderer for C3, and and at least ONE, if not TWO UNKNOWN murderers for C4 and C5...

Because they HADN'T got the names of the other C's murderer, could it have just been that Anderson thought that Turner did the lot? Without being certain?

            "Anderson thought he knew"

            best wishes

            Phil

PS. (Wasn't this guy Le Grand involved with the Fenian movement?)

                      "Secret History of IWMA"

You can read online or download this book from 1872 titled
"A Secret History of the International Working Men's Association".

I'm not sure if there are later editions; I'll check.

The thread is growing too fast for me to keep up, so I'm bound to miss things. Keep in mind I only access the internet while I'm at work! But very quickly.

                        1) The balance sheet Mike produced is one of the sources I used to fix the correct spelling of Diemschutz's name as 'Diemschitz'.
                        2) You'll notice the Star gives them money.
3). Feigenbaum. I'm sure Trevor knows about this guy. He would do brainwashing on the new recruits.

                        Yours truly,

Do we know anything about the legal expenses on that sheet for an Asher Cohen, Tom? Just curious. He was a Hungarian Jew. Also a Doctor.

                            Cheers TW

                              Well done Archaic,

Now this is what CAN be done by people working together on this case. From all directions, people giving to the cause as it were.

I invite the rest of you reading this to weigh in. We MAY be on to something here.

The fact is, Liz Stride is a very doubtful memner of the C5.
A well known opinion is that she her killer was a "local" killer.

This is called separating the curds from the whey.

This could be a wonderful Xmas after all!

                              best wishes

Hi Phil, have fun with it all. If you can find the Ripper or the killer of Stride in the walls of the Berner Street club, you'll have my vote for Ripperhead of the year.

The Internation Working Men's Educational Society had little if anything to do with the older Internation Working Men's Association, by the way.
