Looks like he is nutting it!

It's pretty depressing really, and such a shame to be losing a part of the heritage of the area.

In Hull anything with historical value is destroyed immediatly to make way for "Iconic" structures like over priced flats and shopping centres no one shops in!

                            Regards Mike

                              Polly Nathan's Fried Fish Shop

Here is an old postcard of Petticoat Lane and Nathan's Fish
Shop. I couldn't get the whole picture in because I couldn't get it small enough. I can't tell if this is a drawing, a photo, or a little of both. This is a different angle from a lot of the pictures I've seen, which is the reason I bought this card.

"What our ancestors would really be thinking, if they were alive today, is: "Why is it so dark in here?"" From Pyramids by Sir Terry Pratchett, a British National Treasure.

Looks like a painting but wasn't it common for paintings to be touched up?

My son reckons he can see a "Turtle" he is 4 and has been watching the animated version of the movie earlier.

I am now in the mood for some Fish N Chips!
