Rob Clack's uber-thread reborn. Get busy, folks.

    Hi John

I'm a bit busy at the moment but in the next couple of weeks I'll trawl through 'My Pictures' and whack up whatever I've got that might be lost.

    See you.

Ditto. I'll do the same as time allows.

I wonder if at least some of the location pics from the other threads could be put here? Easier to find, I should think.

Some great pics on here already.

I love the pics of St Botolphs, and like to see crowd shots just to see the reaction on folks face. To think they all have their own little stories, amazes me.

                  Great thread.
                  Regards Mike

It seems that the pictures only show if you're signed in.

                            Fenchurch Street and Aldgate Pump

This is where Aldgate, Leadenhall Street and Fenchurch Street meet, and have done so through the ages.Mitre Square witness ,Joseph Lawende, had a tobacco shop in Fenchurch Street-or worked in one. There are still one or two newsagent/tobacconists there.

This picture shows a woman leaving Mitre square and entering Mitre Street-she probably cut through Mitre Square to avoid the longer route via the corner of Aldgate at St Botolphs. Kate Eddowes may well have done the same on the night of the double event.
