An old form of the address is 5 High Street, Spitalfields. The pub was established by 1760, was still present in 1968, but was gone before 1983."

Wow, shades of Miller's Ct! I'm surprised they had that much stuff to evict.
I spent a long time, the other night, looking over that link. It's very interesting. Includes other tenements and old pubs, etc.
Best,

The Market Trader, Middlesex Street
I'm afraid I don't have a picture, but I found out today that this spring, the Market Trader pub on the corner with Petticoat Lane and New Goulston Street is changing its name back to the Bell!!
Check out 'The Bell' on the wiki pages and you'll find a link to their 'in progress' website.

Pleasure as always Stephen.
Here's a few more:
Brady Street 1929
Brady Street 1930
Brady Street Dwellings 1918
and again, same year
Brick Lane 1946, this is just past Hanbury Street with part of the Brewery Building(which is still there) at the end.
Neath Place from Brady Street 1913
Neath Place from Pereira Street 1913
A couple of Vallance Road from 1913. Another Horn of Plenty Pub
This one shows The Whitechapel Union Infirmary. You can make out people standing on the roof watching the photographer.
and Whitechapel Road 1971. You can see the Kearley & Tonge Warehouse in the background starting to be demolished.
