Ready when you are, Chris Thanks for the thanks.

Note that someone we had down originally as "Spetzina" (in the 1888 batch) was actually "Spelzini" - I checked the Census, and she appears above:

09/12/1885,"Spelzini","Bridget",34,"16 George St","Widow",,"Rheumatism",13/12/1885,"Widow of Joseph (Glass pane maker)"
          Kind regards, Sam Flynn

Most of a family infested by the scabies mite, Kat - a not infrequent occurrence, I'd wager, in those days. Look out for entries listing "scabies" or "phthiriasis" in the records, and they quite often appear in twos or threes.

                Hi all,

This extraordinarily interesting and valuable thread came to a dead halt almost four years ago with no entries after Dec. 14th, 1885. What happened?

                Yours truly,

                Tom Wescott
