People are knowledgeable, helpful, and it's a pleasure to exchange views here.
Being so, the problem with Canucco is not about his (mysterious) theory, but rather about his tone and attitude.
I feel sorry for him, and I sincerely hope he doesn't behave the same in "real" life.
How can anyone, who has been on these boards long enough to remember at least half a dozen such characters who have come, dumped, wiped their arses on the whiniest posters and left again, get so worked up about this latest apparition?
Is there an exorcist in the house for those who think they need one?
Me, I only have to blink and it’s six months down the line and the last apparition has long given up the ghost. Life's too short as it is.
Get a grip you lot. You should know by now what comes (and goes) with this territory.

SUICIDE OF A POPLAR TRADESMAN.
A determined case of suicide occurred in Poplar on Monday morning. A marine store dealer, named Edward Buchan, aged 29 years, carrying on business at 42 Robinhood-lane, Poplar, cut his throat with a knife. It appears that shortly after ten o'clock a sister of the man heard a strange noise, and on entering the back shop saw Buchan in the act of cutting his throat. She raised an alarm and her father came to her assistance and attempted to take the knife from the man's hand, but failed, and cut his own hand badly in the attempt. Dr. Skelly was at once summoned, but Buchan died shortly after. He had nearly severed his head from his body. He had been strange in his manner for some time past. The body was subsequently removed to the mortuary, to await a coroner's inquest.
Yeah, a strange case. Poor Buchan - he evidently thought he was a very UNPOPLAR tradesman.
Hi Stewart, Chris, All,
‘His private papers contain his handwritten identification of Aaron Kosminski as the Ripper.’
Would Nevill have been on solid ground here, even if he had left the Aaron bit out? Can we infer from all the notes that Swanson was identifying Kosminski as the ‘Ripper’, and not just the ‘suspect’ who was fingered by Anderson for the murders?
Have a great weekend all and only worry about the real people you know who badly need a check up from the neck up.
Love,
Caz

In this case I do believe it's the same guy as last time.
Caught out then by Internet genealogy research as I remember.

There is ofcourse a strong tradition of the joker or fool in all European community life.
Even in Shakespeare no play was ever complete for example without a collection of "wits" -or oddballs- to liven things up ! So maybe we could say we have now "arrived"- culturally speaking- with such interjections of nonsensical riddles from Canucco?

Back to the subject, it's ironic isn't it. You had the Sun so much as naming Cutbush back then, so the MM memo trotted out Kosminski among others. Fast forward to today and an announcement opening the Cutbush files brings forth - Kosminski.
