Hi,
First post to this forum, so if I have placed this in the wrong section I apologise.
As we know Edmund Farrow was the Licencee of the George IV in Berner Street. Does anyone have any recollection of finding him also running the Nelson? In 1887 his marriage cert shows him living at 46 Berner Street (I think it says 46, if anyone think it says something different please let me know), which was the Nelson, with the occupation of Licensed Victualler. If he was a barman there he would state that as an occupation. Also previously he ran another pub in Kensington, so wouldn't step back to being a barman. He then moved on to run the Weavers Arms in 1891.
Also his wife, Laura Kerry was shown living at number 48, which I think was the chandlers. Anyone know if it rented rooms out?
I would appreciate any help adding any more detail to this pair.
Thanks
Andy
