On your first point, it seems like emptying your belongings before coetus an unlikely and impractical thing. How long did those encounters usually last I wonder? And why a neat pile? On your third point, weren't all the belongings she had all on the ground? Everything fell out? On your final point, two sides? Ha, we should be so lucky were there only two to contend with. Rings, could just be grab whatever might be valuable just in case. Now, if you wanna go deeper, or possibly deeper, the murderer could have thought the rings were of some importance to the victim then they might have been very valuable to the murderer. Pure fanciful meandering. As far as Eddowes being concerned with the time for working rounds, it is possible of course but I think her reason for it all the more likely. When people ask why she went the direction she did I tend to think it was for drink. That being one of the most likely options. I'm advancing towards the fridge currently.

I was thinking more in terms of making regular rounds, something a lot of homeless people do on a schedule. There are occasional turf wars. That could even explain why she was watching the clock.

Did people ever dumpster dive for food them? If so, could Eddowes have been concerned about the time, because there was a prime dumpster-diving hour, when most of the restaurants closed?

Also, I don't know whether this happened back in 1888, in poor sections, but I know that when I was in college, I'd hear people talk about picking up abandoned drinks in bars, where mixed drinks are really expensive. I was pretty much eavesdropping, so I didn't ask questions, but I don't know whether people were watching for literally abandoned drinks, because people would leave before they finished, and you can't take a drink out of a bar (at least, not in any state where I've ever gone to a bar), or whether they were actually stealing drinks from people who went to the bathroom, or got up to dance.
