Hi I am new on here some observations.

Hi to everyone and compliments on a rather excellent site.

I have been sitting in the background for over a year and have realy enjoyed this site.
I first had a interest in the case from a early age over 35 years ago and read what books were available at the time.
I recall Stephen Knights conspiracy book which is a excellent read but not the verdict I beleive, but still a enjoyable book.

While I don,t have a definitive opinion of whom JTR was I have my favourites as probally most of the regulars do.

I Will try and contribute as best I can but no expert.

Some general questions and observations I have.

One that sticks out is the recent application to have the Metropolitan police files opened under the freedom of imformation act , by someone who has taken the case as far as he can through the judicial system.
This was denied to protect imformants.

Does any one have any idea at all what is in these files?.

Any other poser /questions I have , I will post in the relavent forums.

I seem to remember that SB officers visited 13 Millers Court after the murder though as my brain pretty much works like a bowl of couscous these days I may be completely wrong. Speaking as one who nearly got his arse blown off in the 1980s by a bomb placed in a litter bin in North London by these freedom fighter fellows, one of the most beautiful political ironies ever is that the IRA got classed as terrorists after 9/11 by the country that had mainly funded them for 100 years and were effectively crushed.

Big up to the French who kicked Catholicism out of state education a century ago.
