And the reason I cast Ostrog et al aside so easily is-
If Druitt was a serious suspect, surely when his name was mentioned by Macnaghten some of the details would have been reported correctly? He got his age, profession, date of death and a host of other details wrong. If he really thought Druitt was a ripper candidate would the details have not impressed themselves upon his mind a bit more thouroughly? As far as I can see the only evidence is that he dies a bit after the crimes finished.
Ostrog was a harmless thief, saying that his "antecedents are of the worst", is seriously over-egging the puddung.
Tumblety was a 6 foot homosexual, as far I have been able to ascertain Serial killers stick to victims of their own sexual preference.
Kosminski was poor a delusional nutjob. Again I fail to see any compelling evidence that links him to the crimes, other than Lawende's very, very unimpressive IDing.
But as a new boy perhaps Iam completely wrong
