The E.K. Larkins thing again. I must admit it's a bit anti-climactic. Lol.

    Yours truly,

I didn't have time to return to this thread last night, but it's nice to see that it has been resolved. Nice one Debs and Chris.

Thanks to all on this thread who helped resolve this minor point so quickly and especially to Debs who nailed it!
Anticlimactic? I guess so but if only all queries in this field were resolved so quickly and so thoroughly!!
        Thanks again

I do have a question. It seems this article is suggesting Scotland Yard did not have enough evidence on the man, so they just told him never to return. Have there been any later interviews with Scotland Yard official corroborating this? Thanks.

          Sincerely,

          Mike

The above probably explains this quote dealing with Arbie La Bruckman:

"Strangely enough, he in many ways corresponds with the published descriptions of Jack the Ripper, and followers (sic) the occupation in which that notorious criminal is believed to be engaged, a boss cattle driver on tramp. (sic)"
            The Northern Echo
            21 May, 1891.
