    hi Rob,

I know that there were like three nubers - the one for the talk was different to the one for the exibition (with me so far) i think it rang a long time when i rang the number for the exibtion - but the talk one was right - so i guess keep trying

as far as i remember people were having difficulties with trying to obtian tickets via other methods but i could have that wrong

I will be there... but, I am having a hard time making a reservation. I called the number on the website and just got put on hold for like 15 minutes. Does anyone have any ideas? I hope this event is not sold out.

    Philip-

You should really start abbreviating the abbreviation now. I'm in favor of T. Lo. You know, like J. Lo.

You can take a photo of me and stick it on a chair. I'll be at a Ghost Club meeting, having just flown in from The Land Of Fire And Ice.

Have a pop at them to stock TLoJtRTaN!

Anybody going on the 17th May?

Anybody going on the 17th for the 'Who was JTR' talk? I've just booked my tickets - it'd be nice to see some familiar faces.

Radio 4 Front Row Friday 10th May.

The exhibition was discussed on Radio 4 last night. I was a bit put off when the interviewer asserted that the killer was known as Jack the Ripper right from the start of the murders.

Better still, a reconstruction of Annie's last spud! Seriously, I'll look forward to seeing the exhibition when next I'm in London. Mixed reviews aside, having JTR and Tutankhamun in London at the same time sounds like a "double event" not to be missed.

Hi Stewart. I did say that I wasn't impressed with what I saw on the photographs and it did indeed look like an LVP exhibition from those images. I accept that I do need to see it for myself but I absolutely stand by my personal impression of not being overawed with what I've currently seen. Like so much to do with JTR these days, it currently looks to me like so much more could have been done. The photos I've seen strike me as being the tangible equivalent of the accompanying book. A stuffed bloodhound? If it's not Burgho or Barnaby, then this strikes me as being a little bizarre. What next - a grape stalk?

Philip, I was at the museum on Thursday, as a contributor, and taking a look at the exhibits being put together in the museum. It looked pretty good to me, many original documents on display, and I think that you should, perhaps, wait until you see it before passing judgement. They have an old hand-drawn 'ambulance' and a stuffed bloodhound, amongst other things on display.
