Maybrick is the most ridiculous, considering the amount of interest he draws. At least with most of the other suspects who are regularly discussed on here , whether you agree with them or not you can generate some form of case, even if it is on not much . But with Maybrick there is none, apart from a very obvious fake diary.
    Regards Darryl

    Very much agree Fishy.

Sometimes I find it difficult to decide who is more Lechmere or Druitt, both are unique in their ridiculous status as suspects, but it must be Druitt the clear winner here.

I didn't mention Maybrick because he has nothing to do with this case, not even a person of interest.

It's ridiculous to an extent when Gull was partially paralyzed on one side due to the strokes he suffered from 87-90.

I'd have to say the following.

    1. Cream
    2. Maybrick
    3. Sickert
    4. Carroll
    5. Prince Albert Victor

Damn, I was betting on that monkey too! Dave

I'm sorry, I meant to say Phil Hutchinson- Now Cap'n Jack's suspect- at least might as well be. The other is not ridiculous . The response does answer a few questions though.

    Hunter,

I don't think George Hutchinson as a suspect is really ridiculous. There is a great deal about him and his story we do not know or are uncertain about. So, putting him as a suspect is not really ridiculous at all. However, I personally think he was not the Ripper.

I think Phil Hutchinson is a more credible suspect though. Hmmm, wonder if they are related?

    Hunter,

Some of your choices are clearly throwing the baby out with the bathwater, and don't remotely merit inclusion on a list of the most "ridiculous" suspects. I hope some of your entries were tongue in cheek.
