Of course his DNA was there. He admitted to having sex with sex workers but has always maintained he did not kill them. There were hairs and other DNA that had not even been tested. Plus DNA that did not match JB was withheld. A big deal, though, is that he was convicted during the Thomas Spota / James Burke era. They caught John Bittroff because LE had his brother and a familial match. So the brother was blackmailed/pressured to testify against JB to save himself . . . Maybe he is guilty, but I have doubts he got a fair trial. The jury went to the judge 3 times saying they were deadlocked. If they had been presented the other DNA evidence . . . well. I don't know, but it does seem the authorities are taking a close look at it.
