Desperately seeking Steven

Hello all,
I am currently seeking information on an individual named Otto Steven Wilson, who committed a double homicide in November 1944, within the city of Los Angeles, that, according to writer Colin Wilson, bore a alarming resemblance to the Whitechapel murders. Details surrounding his arrest and eventual fate l have found, but pre-arrest details, namely his early history have proven elusive. I am sure i am not the first person to mention the LA ripper, so if my interest seems a bit old hat, i can only say i am pretty new to all of this. Finally, i would just like to say that i have been impressed by the standard of comments posted, which are intelligent and tasteful and occasionally insightful.
