    DIY Offender Profiling

While I have a decent grasp of offender profiling through years of self-teaching, I would like to take it a bit further. Are there any good books dealing with offender profiling which will help me teach myself offender profiling? I have plenty on general criminal psychology, but none on constructing profiles or understanding crime scenes, behaviour, that kind of thing, specificially.

    Any suggestions?

      Hi DarkPassenger,

You might want to try "Profiling Serial Killers and other crimes in South Africa" by Micki Pistorius. Or any of her other books. I have 3 of her books and they deal with exactly the things you're looking for.

      All the best,
