Does anyone have other hobbies they care to mention other than sussing out Thatcher was JTR? (I blame her for everything bad...ever...)

I have one where I collect pressed pennies. I have a few thousand of them now and trying hard to collect all from the UK. Funny enough I found a penny which links into here.

I am an autograph collector...Sports and early Hollywood/Television.. some musicians...got some great ones.. and some that I'm sure are only great to me

Pressed pennies eh? Where are you from? I live right near Niagara Falls... where every tourist trap has a pressed penny machine ( on the U.S and Canadian side)

I probably spend the same amount of time arguing Shakespeare (Hamlet mostly) as I do Jack the Ripper.

I also crochet little Cthulhu's and sci fi winter accessories for friends.

Hobbies. Well, I've been over this with my wife a few times. She thinks that I'm 'too intense' to have hobbies, thus my hobbies become 'obsessions' and 'matters of life and death'. Anyway, I view these things as my "hobbies" or, more accurately, things that make up my life (outside of my job and taking care of my family).

          1. Strength Training: I train (back squat, pressing variations, pull variations etc.) 5-6 times a week. (I competed in Olympic lifting for years but retired a few years ago).
2, Tabata: I do Tabata (stationary bike) training daily (5:30am)
          3. I'm on the Board of Directors for the local Little League.
          4. I coach a Spring Little League Baseball team.
          5. I coach a Summer Youth Travel Baseball team.
          6. I play in an adult tennis league.
          7. I play in an adult basketball league.
          8. I coach a winter Youth basketball team.
          9. I play guitar. I own four guitars. I practice daily. I'm currently learning to play ZZ Top (Sharp Dressed Man, Tube Snake Boogie, Legs, Under Pressure, etc.). I play a lot of AC/DC, Stones, and Who).
          10. I read a lot. Exclusively non-Fiction. I'm currently reading two books, "Antony and Cleopatra' by Goldsworthy and 'Light my Fire' by Ray Manzarek (I got this from the library. I read a page and found it was a pretentious stream of consciousness mess written by a spaced out, possibly drug addled hippie who - mentally - never left 1967....I can't put it down!).
          11. Landscaping. I did it in college to make ends meet. Still enjoy it. Keep my certifications up. I like to make designs for people who ask and help them with planting, etc. I change my own landscape design in some way, shape or form about every year.
          12. Koi - I have a Koi pond. I enjoy getting new fish and keeping up the pond, making sure it's balanced. I change the water feature every few years. Keep it mucked out.
          13. I try to go to a new major or minor league baseball park (usually three or four if I can) every spring/summer (as time permits).

Things I no longer do but wish I could:

          1. I played adult mens baseball for 6 years. No time anymore. I miss that.
          2. Boxing. My wife wont let me.
          3. Olympic lifting. Body can't take it anymore.
          4. Running. On the bike now. Can't do heavy squats and run. Had to pick one. Not a touch choice.
          5. Sleeping around. Been married for 14 years so. That ended.....a really long time ago.

          That's about it.

I also really love shaving. Does that count?

                Yup!

I started with regular green/black ones, but then I got a Harry Pottercraft request, then I did a Cthewbacca because I had furry yarn, and then I just lost my mind a little. They're wee little guys. Smaller than my hand.

Cthuperman comes with a black blazer and glasses so he can become Cthlark Kent.

Elder god, crawling horror, adorable toy.

                    Hey Patrick
I'm a hUUUUUGe Doors fan. Have all their music and Morrisons poetry books and a ton of biographies including manzareks you mention.

I find the best one though is still No One Here Gets Out Alive.

I also used to build gold fish ponds. Dont have one now but perhaps that's a project Ill do with my son soon. Have a pretty cool fish tank though-we go down to the creek and catch minnows and critters and throw them in there.
waterbugs crayfish salamanders snails whatever we catch.
The coolest thing though is a foot long spiny eel we bought at the pet store when we first set it up-have him forever and he definitely rules the tank LOL.

Oooo I used to for forty years live 5 miles away from one of the coolest beaches in the world for sea glassing. I now have a 180 mile trip home to see my dad as often as possible but always go to the beach.
