        I have no idea whether the Pope saw this as a photo opportunity or not. I do know that had he driven past the boy that there would be those who would say "oh sure, he has the time to meet with the President but can't spare a moment for a disabled child." Cynicism is certainly justified in this world but I see no benefit to it automatically being the default position.
