Doing it as a hobby myself. Lately I've been writing almost only one-liners I guess mostly inspired by Steven Wright and Brian Malow.
Last month I did a 5 minute set of only "walked into a bar" jokes (in Finnish). The audience didn't quite get the idea but the other comedians seemed to like it. I guess mostly because it's totally different than what they are used to hear.
This is way too difficult for most people and only use it in special occasions, but I really like it.
"An electron walked into a bar. And because no one was observing, it went simultaneously to the liquor store next door."
